play pool

If you read my last blog then you know that it was about how the balls react. Now I will cover effect that english has on the cue ball as well as the object balls. If you look at the cue ball as a clock you would have a center and all the positions of the hands. Center ball is where you want to start. By hitting (stroke) the cue ball in the middle you have no spin (english) on the ball and will put no spin on the object ball. Now you need to know that the balls act like gears(spin cue ball right and object will spin to the left) and bottom spin will put top spin on the object ball. Practise..............

better pool

If you have read my previous blog on pool then this one will make more sense. If not read on anyway. The former onfo dealt with the mechanics of the stroke. Now I'll cover some of the things that happen with the table and the balls. First off you must have a level table. If the table has "rolls" in it , that will just delay your progress because you have to have confidence in what you are doing. Then you need to understand how the balls work. They react just like electricity, instantly. If you line up several balls in a row, when you hit the first one in line the last oun in line reacts instantly. Next time I'll cover what english does. Gotta go.
